Why Buy a Phil and Teds Stroller?

It’s likely you have arrived at these pages because you are either looking for a Phil and Teds stroller (like the Classic in the picture) to buy, or are just interested in finding out more about them. If you already know what you want, just click on the picture below to find some good deals on the range, otherwise, read on!

Firstly you should know that Phil and Teds products are popular across the globe and that sort of success does not arrive without a good reason.  To put it simply, the products are good, safe, reliable and pleasing to the eye. So let me expand a little because these strollers are not cheap! However, I’m sure you have come across the phrase, “you get what you pay for” as well.

The main ranges that that Phil and Ted produce are the Sport, Vibe, Classic and Dash strollers. One of the really good things about Phil and Teds Strollers is that if you buy a single stroller and need a double later (often the case!), instead of buying a whole new stroller you can just buy an easy to fit doubles kit for that particular model. Certainly saves you money then and a lot less hassle. The only downside of that is you will lose some of the otherwise good storage space although this is perhaps not surprising.

Other articles on this site address the individual models but in general, the Phil and Ted strollers are solid but lightweight and give a smooth ride for baby. Storage is excellent and the front wheel is lockable which makes for good manoeuvrability. When you get your stroller, you will find it easy to assemble and it will fold down surprisingly small enough for most cars. The adaptability of these strollers is very good, but there are a couple of things you should consider. You will find them difficult to fold one-handed and the extras can be expensive although they are easy to fit.

The general consensus of most reviews appears to be that Phil and Teds strollers are a good long lasting purchase.

I’ve put a copy of one of the reviews here which I haven’t changed, good or bad!

We love to travel and did not want this to become a huge issue so we decided to purchase the P&T’s stroller. It collapses in seconds. My honey wanted a jogger and another stroller for an urban setting. I wanted something that would do both, because I did not want to go through the expense of purchasing two strollers and having to decide when to take which stroller, etc. The only minus is that when lowering the seat for a sleeping child, the pulls for the zipper can easily break so you have to remember to lower it prior to putting the child in it, raise the child slightly so the fabric is loose, or not to lower it. Ours broke and this section was easily exchanged at no cost with no questions asked.
