I’ve put a copy of one of the reviews here which I haven’t changed, good or bad!
By J. M. Elbers

We love to travel and did not want this to become a huge issue so we decided to purchase the P&T’s stroller. It collapses in seconds. My honey wanted a jogger and another stroller for an urban setting. I wanted something that would do both, because I did not want to go through the expense of purchasing two strollers and having to decide when to take which stroller, etc. The only minus is that when lowering the seat for a sleeping child, the pulls for the zipper can easily break so you have to remember to lower it prior to putting the child in it, raise the child slightly so the fabric is loose, or not to lower it. Ours broke and this section was easily exchanged at no cost with no questions asked.

Are Phil and Teds Strollers jogging strollers as well as an all terrain pushchairs?

All terrain pushchairs come with 3 wheels with pneumatic tyres that are designed to cope with all kinds of terrains as well as pavements. Although a relatively new concept, they are roughly based on a mountain bike. They use chunky tyres with added suspension to the chair frame to provide more comfort for the child and to provide better manageability across rough and/or bumpy terrains.

You don’t need this type of stroller unless you regularly intend to walk with your child along the beach or muddy country tracks etc.

Instep Jogging Stroller

You may also find all terrain strollers lighter and easier to use if you intend to jog while pushing a stroller, but all terrain pushchairs are not fundamentally jogging strollers. For instance, one difference you will see is the size of the tyres, jogging strollers tend can have up to 20inch wheels that the Phil and Teds Strollers do not have! As an example, see the Instep Jogging Stroller that has 16inch wheels and a very light and manageable frame.

Is your Phil and Teds Stroller just a fashion accessory or is it personalised? Find out how to personalise any stroller to make it unique rather than just an accessory.

The answer to this question rather depends on the mother! What I mean by that is how it is used. If you just want a top branded stroller that everybody knows is expensive, go out and get all the accessories and cover it with a bit of bling then yes, it is a fashion statement. However, even if you do that but take baby out every day for a good walk then I would suggest you are just personalising your Phil and Teds Stroller and know darn well what you should be doing with it!

Customising your stroller is actually quite a fun thing to do and there are several ways you can do this. Buy or recover a sun parasol in some snazzy fabric and decorate it how you please, but do be careful if there are any loose bits that baby can’t get hold of them. You can also put those wonderful LCD lights in the wheels so you can be seen more easily if you are often out in the dark. If you are really artistic, jazz up the covers with some waterproof (you may be out in the rain!) paints.

A great way to make your stroller individual is to have a customised name plate for it! Not well known, but for around $12 you can choose from several designs or send your own image in. Just add the name and this little 3 x 9 reflective badge will make your stroller stand out from the rest! There are others on the market for a lot more ($40 plus), but you can get the cheaper versions on Ebay.

I’m sure there are plenty more things you can think of to decorate your stroller, but do keep in mind how the buggy functions and safety as they must be your primary concern. I look forward to seeing a few Phil and Teds strollers out there with personalities of their own rather than them just being a fashion accessory!
